KUTCHAN, HOKKAIDO, JAPAN, August 18, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Japan Ski Experience has launched a new accommodation booking platform, bringing together more than 5,800 stays across Japan's leading ski resorts on a single platform. It is one of the largest dedicated selections of Japan ski accommodation available online.Travellers can compare hotels, apartments and chalets side by side, with live rates and instant online booking available across a large portion of the range. Where a property is not set up for instant confirmation, guests can request their dates directly through the platform and the company's resort-based team confirms the booking with the operator. Guests receive the same specialist support before and during their trip whichever way they book.
The selection also includes properties from smaller independent operators, particularly in the Hakuba Valley, many of which have previously been difficult for international travellers to find or book online.
Developed over the past two years, with further improvements planned throughout the coming seasons, the platform builds on nearly two decades of accommodation specialisation. Founded in Niseko in 2007 by Lindsay Colbert and Ben Thorpe, Japan Ski Experience works directly with property managers and local operators in each resort.
"Booking accommodation is often the hardest part of planning a Japan ski trip, and it's the part we've specialised in for almost twenty years. Some of the best places to stay in Japan's ski resorts barely exist online. They're run by small local operators and have always been hard for overseas guests to reach. The new platform puts those properties alongside the well-known hotels and chalets, so guests can explore the full range and book on their own terms, with our team in the resorts whenever they want a second opinion." - Lindsay Colbert, Founder and Managing Director, Japan Ski Experience
Demand for Japanese ski holidays has continued to grow, with Niseko accommodation and Hakuba accommodation typically booking out months ahead of the peak winter weeks. Ski-in, ski-out properties and stays with private onsen are popular and often the first to sell out. Being able to view, filter and compare the full range online, well before travel dates, gives visitors a realistic picture of what is available while the widest choice still exists.
